There are many striking images that can be seen at a boxing match: bloodied and closed eyes, a boxer slumped near death in his corner, and wild haymakers thrown by warring entourages. But the greatest sights at a boxing match are the round card girls who parade around the ring in the most sensible of wardrobes bikinis and high heels. And the greatest site to see such sights is RoundCardGirlz.com.
This week we talk boxing and babes...
Site: RoundCardGirlz.com
Description: Adult Sports Entertainment (primarily boxing &
sportfighting) Based in NYC
Webmaster Name:Big Daddy
Webmaster E-mail: Bdaddy@roundcardgirlz.com
Birth Date of Site: May 12, 2000
Traffic Data: 300,000 hits/per/week
1. Your site is more than just T&A, which would have been plenty for me. What else is featured on your site?
The No. 1 page on our site, believe it or not, is a page we call The NYC-Metro Fight Schedule, where we highlight the upcoming sportfighting shows in NYC. The No. 2 page is where we show directions how to get there.
2. What is your relationship with the round card girls? Do you own rights to the photos?
My relationship with the round card girlZ (RCGs) is purely professional. If it wasn't, I wouldn't last a week. Do you know of any man that could satisfy 16 women on a regular basis? Yes, I own the rights to all of the photos.
3. Have you caught other sites using your photos without permission? Do you handle these disputes in the ring?
I have caught two sites in the past three weeks using pictures without permission. The next person we catch will have to fight three of the RCGs in a pool of Jell-O and whipped cream Dominatrix style. The girls have always won because their whips were longer and thicker.
4. How do you make money off this gig?
We have a few revenue streams:
* Direct payment from the promoters
* Direct payment through sponsors for wearing their outfits
* Direct payment from the arena (and/or casino)
* Monthly payment from memberships (recurring billing) from our Internet
site
* Sales of RCGs photos and memorabilia
5. What are some of the more creative and successful ways you have promoted RoundCardGirlz.com?
Getting into the ring myself at a pro-women's boxing event. Having the models pose nude with "ring card numbers" on their butts.
6. Do you have an online staff, or are you a one-man 'Net empire?
I have a small staff of three people.
7. Is there anything in this world more contradictory than wearing the staple of elegance, a tuxedo, to a boxing match?
Yeah, wearing the Superfly outfits from the '70s with platform shoes.
8. You sell a 50-picture of CD of "RoundCardGirlz.com Hot Pics" for $125. If those aren't lesbian orgy shots of the card girls with Britney Spears and Laura Bush, how could they be worth $2.50 a picture?
Because they do consist of (some) lesbian shots. You can easily see who is getting "Speared" and who is "Bushed."
9. Have any round card girls in boxing history become celebrities in their own right?
Good question. I know of a lot of celebrities that have did it after they were famous.
10. If I can watch the Super Bowl for free, the World Series for free and the World Cup for free, why should I have to pay to see Oscar De La Hoya fight? Wouldn't boxing benefit in the long run by having its top-ranked bouts available to all on free TV?
No, because pay-per-view (PPV) is now a revenue stream for boxing promotions. They depend on that extra income because boxer salaries/purses are very high. And besides, if it was on free TV, who would advertise?
11. I don't see anything on your site about Jell-O wrestling. Do you have something against low-fat dessert or are those types of events too cheesy for RoundCardGirlz.com?
Believe or not, we are looking for opponents to Jell-O wrestle with. Most men are intimidated because of the size/shape of our models.
12. I live in New York, a short train ride from your headquarters in White Plains. When are you going to invite me to party with the girlz? (Notice I used the z.)
We are going to start hosting PPV fight parties next month. You have a free invitation. Don't forget to bring your own lube/gravy.
Wow, this is one site I'm going to keep tabs on, and I'm looking forward to those pay-per-view parties, even though the last time someone told me to "bring my own gravy," I called the cops.
I still contend that boxing would serve itself better by getting a network to pay to broadcast its major events. It's not like the NFL couldn't put the Super Bowl on pay-per-view. But it doesn't, because it recognizes the longterm benefits of accepting free-TV network fees and gouging fans in other ways. But boxing is a decentralized sport with a lot of vultures, so the easy way out is to grab as much money as possible now. The way to attract new fans is to expose them to your product without asking for $50 in return.
All you boxing fans head over to RoundCardGirlz.com.
