Kelli Graham is an Orlando-based model, actress, dancer and body double. This week, I asked Kelli about her busy career and how her website is going, and I once again found time to crack on Frenchies.
THE INTERVIEW
1. What were your goals for KelliGraham.com and how's it going so far?
When I decided to get back into modeling a couple of years ago I thought that a website was a great way to get my face back out there. This time around with modeling I wanted to be in control of my career. Having kelligraham.com is the best way to do that. It's working out really well. I have no complaints.
2. What are some of the more creative and successful ways you've promoted KelliGraham.com?
I don't know if I can call my site creative quite yet. I have a lot of creative marketing ideas for the near future. However, I am linked to hundreds of other sites and that's doing the job for now.
3. Do you have help maintaining your site, or are you a one-woman 'Net empire?
I have to say that my site is 100% run by someone else, my No. 1 fan, my mother. She designed the site, put it up and maintains it. I'll talk to her about what I think should be on it, but she's the brains behind the site. It takes a lot of time to maintain a site, and without her I probably would not have one. She is the only one that I trust to have control. Thanks, mom, I love you.
4. Are you able to get through all the fan e-mail that comes through to you?
I try my hardest to respond to all the mail that I get. I have to be honest, sometimes I get really busy and I fall behind. What can I say? I'm only human.
5. Even though you've appeared in six of Playboy's newsstands specials, there's no nude photos of you on KelliGraham.com. (I know because I checked 400 times.) Is the absence of those photos a rights issue, or do you think there's not enough of an audience online looking for T&A?
We both know that there is a large audience for T&A on the Internet. I keep all semi-nude or nude pictures off my website because that is not what I want to be known as, a nude model. Actually the only nudes that I have done were for Playboy. Playboy is probably the onle nudes that I would do. Being in Playboy is amazing, but I want to be known for more than just taking my clothes off.
6. I'm always trying to get the word out about PaulKatcher.com. Would you mind sending me the names, e-mailing addresses and phone numbers of every woman who has ever posed for Playboy? (Except the married ones.)
Sorry I have to respect the right to privacy for my Playboy girlfriends.
7. I understand your main focus these days is acting. What kinds of roles have you played or are interested in playing?
Yes my main focus is acting. It is very hard to cross from modeling to acting, but I am very determined. My first lead role in a film, I just did. I played a colonel in the military gone wrong. My character was very icy and evil, but very sexy at the same time. It was a good part. I liked my chracter. The movie is called "Cries of Innocence." As I am writing this I am in San diego filming another move, the working title is "Jimmy Capbell." Again I play the sexy woman, but this time I am a college professor that all the college kids want to sleep with. It's a supporting role. I will be happy to play any role that I am comfortable with. I just want to work on quality films. If I had my choice I would really like to do comedy and action ... think "Tomb Raider" and "Charlie's Angels."
8. What's the difference between being a Playboy "model" and "Playmate" besides the obvious part of getting your own month? How many women have jumped from the special editions to become a Playmate, and is that something you aspire to do?
Being a Playmate is just that, you get your own month. The Newstand Issues come out more often and have different themes. Either way, to me Playboy is Playboy, and being in it is a honor. I don't know how many girls make the jump, but I am willing and ready. Being a Playmate is not my only aspiration, but its something that I have always wanted to do and would be so proud if I was able to.
9. Got any good Hef stories?
Not yet. Check back with me in a year.
10. As a teen, you modeled in Paris for four summers. Did you ever inform a snooty Frenchman that if it weren't for Americans, they'd all be speaking German?
All the time, but I do not think they understood what I was saying. Maybe it lost something in the translation.
11. Let's make a trade: my nude photos for yours. What do you think?
I'm trying to attract people to my site, not scare them off.

12. What can we look forward to seeing on KelliGraham.com in the future?
Like most models, kelligraham.com is going to have some work done. I want to make it more edgy and interactive. I also want to incorporate some ideas I have for creative merchandising.

How 'bout a web site that's run by your mom? Now that's cool. My mom can't even find my site and the damn thing is named after her son.
I wish much success for "Cries of Innocence." I look forward to seeing them knock "Titanic" off its box-office perch. Or at least "Pearl Harbor," which was embarrassing. Nothing like turning a war tragedy into a love story/action movie. Alec Baldwin, what were you thinking?
