Jolly Mon Sings For His Supper Every Night...

And apparently it's filet mignon.

Next time someone complains about how unauthorized digital downloads crippled the music industry, I'm gonna punch him in the face.

And no, I didn't buy the tickets. Around $430 for two people to hear songs about cheeseburgers? I don't think so.

I had this happen to me once last semester. Me and my two friends wanted to see Avenged Sevenfold. Three tickets at $25 a pop should be $75, but when I went to the checkout the total was $100. I'm not spending the equivalent of a whole nother ticket in "convenience charge". Luckily for us, you could get them sans-charges at the box office, so we did. It was a pretty good show too.

I love Jimmy but I am not paying those prices to see him. It is not as much here in Philly/South Jersey to see him, but nonetheless it ends up being a $600 night when all is done.

I will pass this year, myself.

Yeah dude but you have to expect it. Buffett doesnt make his money on Album/CD sales, he makes it on tours. So when he can hold you up, he will hold you UP!! This is a guy who has toured every year since 1984, and is probably a billionaire just from his yearly tours..
Plus why the hell would you want to see Buffett at the Garden, you wanna go somewhere you can tailgate, get drunk, etc..

Ayan, great point about the tailgate opportunity. Better to drive to -- my god, I can't believe I am saying this -- Long Island for a Jones Beach show.

Never seen Buffett. Figure one of these years I will.

Did that price include a lap dance?

I have seen Buffett twice. It was fun, but I have been to far better concerts.

I just got done seeing Jimmy here in Texas. Tix were about $50 each (before the ticketmaster bullshit charges). Great show and worth the price. PK you know I'm a Parrothead and even I wouldn't pay what they are asking you for to see a Buffett show. I would make an effort for the parking lot party though, it is always fun.
