Best 'Seinfeld' Sports Moments
I got the assignment of a lifetime — albeit my questionably significant lifetime — Tuesday when I was asked to pen a piece for ESPN.com on the greatest sports moments in Seinfeld history.

I don't think I've ever been so committed to doing a good job. Well, not since I lied my way out of going to work after I stayed out till 5 a.m. the night of Super Bowl XXXVI.

So have a read. And remember, in this season of giving, to send all your friends an e-mail with the article's URL in it.

Cool article,
I was laughing at some of the memories.
That was one magic loogie. "He asked me to help him move."

say, the 'marine biologist' episode, with the ball in the whale, didn't Kramer say something like 'a hole in one'?

Have a good holiday.

Great article. The one with the whale was classic. "I tell ya he was ten stories high if he was a foot!"

The one I was looking for the entire time was the Bernie Williams/Derek Jeter scene. George whacking the ball out of Yankee stadium and the tone in his voice when he goes "Pffft...in six games" was hilarious.

excellent column!

So when will you be a cartoon like the Sports Guy???

And.. Diamond Ferri - wo ho!

Diamond Ferri played probably the greatest two-way game I've ever seen. 141 rushing yards and two TDs, plus an interception returned for a TD. Unreal.

I was shocked that the Gundeson episode, the OJ Simpson spoof, did not get an honorable mention. Gundeson was a Yankee catcher and did storm off a golf course.
