Photos: Red Rock West's Harley-Davidson Fashion Show
Me and Harley-Davidson go together like Manny Ramirez and calculus. After all, my only bike is a 24-speed Specialized Sirrus.

But when a motorcycle event involves a sunny Sunday afternoon, free food, cheap booze and hot bartenders in leather chaps, I'm there. And so I put my camera in overdrive last week and posted 29 photos from the annual Harley Davidson Fashion Show at Red Rock West, a bar so popular it attracts customers that range from bikers to business execs, from sailors to celebs, from the tattooed to the toasted, to those god-awful, cheesy bachelorette parties from Long Island to the (worse!) carloads of nimrods from Jersey on their weekend jaunts to Manhattan.

Anyway, back to the show: One-by-one, the bartenders strutted and danced across the bar, showing off the latest and tightest Harley Davidson apparel. Ten-by-ten I took photos — nine-by-nine of which were blurry, since I don't know aperture from apricots and ISO from UFOs.

The mistress of ceremonies was none other than Tracy (pictured in red), one of my favorite bartenders, whom I interviewed last year and who maintains the official Red Rock West website, where you can read the latest bar news, meet the staff and view photo galleries that thankfully don't include any of me doing something retarded.

The highlight for me was winning a benefit raffle and being awarded a long-sleeve Red Rock t-shirt, plus a $100 gift certificate to the Harley-Davidson of NYC store. You know I'm no biker when I was more psyched to get the shirt. Well, looks like it's gonna be more shot glasses for the PK.com world headquarters.

Once again--great pics! Tracy is absolutley gorgeous. I can see why she is your favorite bartender.

Had I known that there was a sex shop on Madison Ave. selling a new toy called "the bone" I would not have spent so much time shopping at Gucci, Chanel and Sephora when I was in NYC last week. The bone would have been a better way to spend my money.

Speaking of shirts...Everyday I great the mailman topless in anticipation that my PK.com shirt is in the mail. Everyday, I walk away disappointed and he drives off very pleased. It is getting cold here in NJ so let me know ASAP whether or not I should stop this.

I have a package for you, Cass!! Sorry you set yourself up. And I couldn't pass on the cheesyness. I have never been to NYC. I really, really, really want to to go next year. Are there any volunteers to be like a "tour/bar/pub crawl" guide? As of right now it would just be me and my girlfriend. But damn...I feel left out on thelocal posts about the most outrageous bars and parties.

Hallas, there are plenty of bar crawls and tours in New York. Your best bet is to pick up a copy of Time Out New York and see what's going on when you're here. Or do a web search. You're familiar with the web, right? Or just head on down to the Village and do your own tour down West Fourth Street, Bleecker Street and all around Alphabet City. Or hit the message boards at NYCBP.com and some drunk will help you out. Or maybe MurphGuide.com is promoting an event.

Cass, your shirt's on the way.

Nice - I love Red RockS....

Paul-- that would be too simple. I like to make things difficult.

I used to use MurphGuide.com to find bars for my best friend and I when she first moved to Manhattan. You can register with them and they send you weekly updates of NYC events. MurphGuide.com is also how I found PK and have been a loyal PK reader ever since (loyal, but shirtless).

Hallas, NYC is the best city in the world. Lots to do, so advice is to leave the girlfriend at home.

Thanks for giving me the heads up on the shirt, PK. It is cold here in NJ and my nipples are hard enough to cut glass.

Cass,

Pretty please with sugar on top, don't ever stop greeting the mailman topless.

Love Always,

Your Mailman

Hallas,

I agree 110% with PK. Murph Guide is the best NY bar guide I've come across in my 8 years in the NYC area. Far better than citysearch.com as far as bars go. One suggestion, try and go to McSorley's Alehouse....EARLY. It's a great place to start a bar crawl, but it get's filled up quick. It's the Yankee Stadium of NYC bars.

PK,

Man that looks like fun. I love the chaps on those girls (& it's not just cause I am from Texas).

We've got a bar similar here Called Willhoites in Grapevine. http://www.willhoites.com/index.htm except their barstaff isn't quite as revealing the Red Rock girls.

Cass - nah-nah I got mine in the mail already! I'll send pictures to y'all of me getting arrested for debauchery in it someday.

Hmm, maybe I'll have to get the girlfriend to greet our mailman in that fashion until the shirts arive... It's getting cold in Buffalo too.

Nice pictures Paul. As usual, you come through in clutch situations.
