More Feedback, Please, on the Free (To You) T-Shirts
OK, here's what I'm thinking for men's and women's styles. Before I invest the dough, I need to know a few things:

1. How do they look?
2. What sizes would you want?
3. Are there any other t-shirt styles at customink.com you'd rather have?

Again, I'll have them printed and shipped out free of charge to you. You just have to wear them, preferably at Yankees games.

WOW!i love the logo!! :)

Posted by unknown unbiased person at August 16, 2004 9:16 PM

What I want to know is how does someone go about getting one of these bad boys? They look pretty cool to me.

Posted by Chris at August 16, 2004 11:27 PM

I like the baseball raglan in heather/navy (like your beloved yankee pinstripes)....and when you get ready to ship, you know I want one, too!

Posted by lucy at August 17, 2004 12:15 AM

i think the release of these beautiful t-shirts definitely calls for a contest. who can submit a photo of him/herself doing the craziest thing while donning the PK.com logo? (In other words, put me down for a medium - or large if they shrink at all.)

Posted by RP at August 17, 2004 12:33 AM

Looks really cool. Large for me.

Posted by The 7th Angel at August 17, 2004 12:51 AM

Best...shirt...ever. I'd take a 2XL.

Posted by Kevin Wilson at August 17, 2004 12:52 AM

i like the subtle design...too many t-shirts suffer from too much crap all over the front and back...

Posted by chris mac at August 17, 2004 12:57 AM

I'll have an official order post coming up.

Right now, I'm, leaning toward black and white, if only because that how the logo looks right now, and I know the colors will match.

I'm willing to spend $1,000, which is good enough for just under 100 shirts, as the women's t's are a bit more than $10.

If there are no complaints by Tuesday, I'll order them up, have them in NYC in two weeks and call for mailing addresses.

Anyone willing to wear one is eligible to receive one.

Posted by Paul Katcher at August 17, 2004 2:03 AM

Only design tip: slip a secret Yankees logo in. Don't even tell anyone about it.

Oh yeah, Medium.

Posted by joe at August 17, 2004 3:50 AM

I like it. I would go with Large. Which "Ringer" shirt is that?

Posted by Cory at August 17, 2004 8:07 AM

I wear one of those fuckers for sure!!!
Can I get one for Tequila Girl too?

Posted by Tequila Dave at August 17, 2004 8:22 AM

Who is the model... She looks pretty hot.

Posted by at August 17, 2004 8:26 AM

do the girls shirts come with that rack? If so, I need one for my wife

Posted by tim at August 17, 2004 9:00 AM

i think the plain white one with the black trim is nice looking...large....very coool.

steve

Posted by steve at August 17, 2004 9:13 AM

Both shirts look great, can't wait for you to take orders.

Posted by Matt at August 17, 2004 9:16 AM

I also like the gray ringer shirts but these are awesome as well. May I have a XL one?

Posted by Nick at August 17, 2004 9:25 AM

I'll wear it at Yogi's, because spilled beer looks good on white. XXL for me, please.

Posted by Eddie at August 17, 2004 9:30 AM

Looks good
XL
I like the suggestions by Lucy and Joe

Posted by Rick at August 17, 2004 9:30 AM

XL here for the transplanted NY'er living in NashVegas, TN. The design is way cool btw.

Posted by Aaron James at August 17, 2004 9:32 AM

Very cool. Gotta represent PK in the land of 10,000 Lakes. Only after the next three nights of Yankee beat-downs. Totally willing to pay for it, by the way. XL.

Posted by John Odne at August 17, 2004 9:51 AM

ahhh, joe, but there are 5 yankees logos that i secretly placed in the design... sure, they're in black on the black areas, but, believe me, they're in there... i also designed some graffiti on one of the buildings that reads "red sux:1918"... but you really need an un-nekkid eye to see that :)

Posted by erin at August 17, 2004 10:20 AM

I'd take one....if you are shipping into Canada.

Posted by Matt at August 17, 2004 10:44 AM

Im glad my hat inspired you to get on making these things. I will definitely participate in the craziest thing I'm doing in a PK tshirt.

Posted by Livia at August 17, 2004 10:49 AM

The white T with black arm trim is classy and goes well with logo, but I would assume with all the baseball talk on this site you would put the logo on a baseball jersey t-shirt. Large, please.

Posted by Larry at August 17, 2004 10:53 AM

I can do these up in any color, sizes and styles. I'm gonna give them a call and see if I can work in some gray shirts to go along with the whites, and have a sampling of sizes.

My main concern was whether the gals like their style. I know the ringer is fine for guys.

Posted by Paul Katcher at August 17, 2004 11:15 AM

Paul,if you would be so kind, send me an XL so I can pimp yo shiznit and be the envy of all whom I encounter. thanks.

Posted by Grant Martin at August 17, 2004 11:51 AM

I would wear a medium. Unless it is for the wet T-shirt contest--then I would need a small.
You ARE going to have a wet T-shirt contest, aren't you?
The design and choice of style is great!

Posted by PeeWee at August 17, 2004 1:04 PM

I myself would prefer a solid grey shirt instead of the ringer style. In an XL size.

Posted by Lee at August 17, 2004 1:04 PM

Wet T-shirt contest, huh? Maybe we'll have a faceless one on PK.com and the readers pick a winner.

Posted by Paul Katcher at August 17, 2004 1:08 PM

YES.

(PS: Scott Baio is on Regis right now.)

Posted by RP at August 17, 2004 1:31 PM

Paul, I'm a big fan of the baseball raglan style and would love a men's large (with blue sleeves, like my favorite Yankee t-shirt) if that's available. I love the idea of a contest to see who can do the craziest thing while wearing one.

If I ever catch one of Barry's record-breaking home run balls, I'll be sure to wear one to the press conference.

TTman

Posted by TTman at August 17, 2004 1:59 PM

The shirts look great. I would wear an xl

Good call on the wet t-shirt contest.

Posted by Jason at August 17, 2004 2:15 PM

The womens shirts need to show some belly, we don't want any fat chicks promoting PK.com do we?

Posted by Dan at August 17, 2004 2:51 PM

I think the women's style falls just above the belt line. So you can see some belly when she's swinging back a beer.

Posted by Paul Katcher at August 17, 2004 3:06 PM

obviously, any girl who gets in a wet t-shirt contest while wearing a pk.com t-shirt would win rp's contest. maybe two contests are in order, one for the tigobitties, and one for craziness?

Posted by joe at August 17, 2004 3:25 PM

Calm down, boys. Wearing a pkatcher.com shirt doesn't mean a girl's going to wet it down and/or take it off for you, just because it sounds good to you.

There would definitely have to be some sort of gambling involved. ;-)

Actually, I don't like the ladies style- I'm holding out for the baseball raglan- mostly because I tend to look too Dolly Parton-ish in that style...

Posted by lucy at August 17, 2004 3:38 PM

As an avid reader of 3 years who knows no one from NY and has never been there I would love to pimp yo stuff. XXL for a "Jared Challenged" individual such as myself.

Posted by Dan Rice at August 17, 2004 3:47 PM

How about a muscle top so I can see my pipes at the gym.

Posted by Jim Bob at August 17, 2004 3:49 PM

Paul,

My fiance Livia asked me if you would consider putting your logo on a Speedo for me. Would that be too much trouble?

Nick

Posted by Nick at August 17, 2004 4:35 PM

Hell yes i want a tshirt!!!

Posted by Dave at August 17, 2004 4:36 PM

XL for this fat fucker from Tampa, home of spring training Yankees ball.

Posted by Me at August 17, 2004 5:28 PM

Excellent logo. Throw me down for a shirt. Large. I like the white with black trim as opposed to gray.

Posted by A.J. at August 17, 2004 5:30 PM

XL here, whatever style ya' have laying around :)

Posted by erin at August 17, 2004 5:33 PM

I'm gonna bet this is going to be one of the most commented posts on PK.com in a while.

Great t-shirt design! Send me your address for a Shumpy.com shirt. Ah there's an idea! You should see how many folks would send you their t-shirts/products in exchange for the LIMITED FIRST RUN PK.com t-shirt.

I'll take one (XXL) down here in Texas in where things are bigger & better.

Too bad the Yanks have already come through town or I would head to a Rangers game and get a picture there. Maybe a Stars game?

I like the wet t-shirt plan though. Offer PK.com panties as a prize, then that will inspire another contest...

Posted by Shumpy at August 17, 2004 6:22 PM

I'll definitely take a t-shirt, i just need to think of dumb pranks to do while i wear it, like when i did a beer bong dressed as jesus

Posted by Netti at August 17, 2004 6:40 PM

I am with RP and Livi on the contest. I am game for a wet PK shirt contest. If I am going to wear a shirt, then I want the twins to get some recognition:)...

Posted by Cass at August 17, 2004 7:10 PM

Hahahah I so did not ask Nick to wear a Speedo. ALL LIES!

I personally like the tank tops better than the womens choice now. Like this one. (But I'm not going to be picky http://www.customink.com/cink/r.jsp?R=http%3A//www.paulkatcher.com/ like that one.

And I'm glad you all volunteered me to take part in the wet tshirt contest.

Posted by Livia at August 17, 2004 8:47 PM

I can't promise to wear one at a Yankees game, but I can promise to Photoshop one onto a likeness of Pedro Martinez . . .

Mark me down for an XL . . .

Posted by Rob at August 17, 2004 9:45 PM

I'm all about some PK.com here in Atlanta...

Can't wait to start showing all my friends what the real New Yorkers are sporting this fall. They are going to be so jealous. This is definatly a Glamour Do!!

Paul, love the read every day...been doing it for over a year. Good luck w/ Page 3.

Posted by Bridget at August 18, 2004 12:30 AM

Utah, I'll take 2.

Posted by hotlantaian at August 18, 2004 8:10 AM

Posted by Lloyd at August 18, 2004 9:07 AM

AWESOME! I'm giving the logo an A+... and the size and XL for me :) Very good idea to make shirts.. you have so many fans!!

Posted by Suz Norton at August 18, 2004 11:04 AM

I'm in Buffalo but do alot of travel to NY. I'll pass on the kick in the nuts, thanks. How about a wedgie instead? Not. Just a medium...

Posted by Joel at August 18, 2004 12:34 PM

I'd like an XL please paul thank you!

Posted by Grant at August 18, 2004 5:07 PM

Love the logo! I need to wear one behind the bar!

Posted by Tracy at August 18, 2004 9:22 PM

The design is pretty sweet - I wouldn't mind a XXL or XXXL to wear around Toronto. Thanks.
