Comments: Selling Madonna Tix (2) - Sunday 6/20 - Face Value

Madonna, by the way, now wants to be called Esther. For real:

It is an awesome concert. I went last night, and it was worth every penny.

Section 420, tickets to Madonna, were you high? lol

Posted by Dan at June 17, 2004 1:13 PM

Sorry I never got back to you. My friends have been lame-o.

No, Dan, the prices were high. Check the numbers on tickets anywhere else in the arena. From $150-$300 face. Ridiculous. For $60, she's worth seeing. I already saw her three years ago, and might just go anyway on Sunday.

No one can make fun of me paying $90 to see Prince, at MSG for Floor Section. Blue Seats for Madonna.. no thanx, i'l wait for the video

I paid $300 (FACE VALUE) for my tix to see her in Philly in July. I saw her back when I was in high school, and all her insanity aside-she does put on a great show. I just hope that the show is not all Kaballah-ized. My friends and I shelled out that loot to see her slutty not saintly.

Whomever goes, please report back so I know whether or not to sell my ticket. On great & inexpensive concert note--Jimmy Buffett arrives in 12 days:).

I just saw Madonna a couple of weeks ago. Sorry, Cass, but the show is a little "Kabbalah-ized." Not to give too much of the thematic elements away, but "Madge" or "Esther" delves into politics, war and religion on this tour. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the show...thought it was her best tour to date. Have a great time!

You know, you people really aren't helping me get rid of these tickets. Now I'm gonna have to go and the review will be the lead on Monday. That will be your punishment.

$124 (for 2) is a BARGAIN to see Madonna live.
You should have no problem selling the tickets, maybe you should put them on a one day Ebay auction. It is a cheap date to see the slut before she dies, as PK put it.

In addition to the post above, a friend told me an hour ago that it is Madonna's best tour to date (he has been to all of them), so I am definitely keeping my ticket.

She better be slutty.

I refuse to buy and/or drink the Kabbalah water. I will stick with my sin-filled Miller Lite.

We're anticipating a great review - we know you'll write up a good one, Paul.

On the Kabbalah water vs. beer front - I don't know of anyone (and I know some who practice/follow the Kabbalah) who would choose to swig that water over a good, cold brewski. :)

I won't give away any details...but I'm sure you all will enjoy the show.

LOL!! "Go and see this slut before she dies"

Thats my kind of marketing.

Not for nothing dude - but how did you get stuck with Madonna tickets?

Posted by Kevin at June 20, 2004 9:57 PM

I bought 'em months ago when they went on sale. Figured maybe I'll go and maybe not. I decided not to go.
