i got 323.5 but i've heard of scores in the 330's. the trick is to get it to land just before the 188/189 mark, which is the last spot he'll hit without sticking into the ground. i hate myself for knowing that.

You're right. I just got a 321.2, landing around 188. I landed at 189.1 and got stuck.

Speaking of old 80's arcade games, anyone know what the game where you have a bar at the bottom kind of like Pong, but you try to knock out different colored blocks to earn points and advance levels? Asteroids... or Altoids... or something... I can't remember but I used to play it all the time at Bennigan's, it was up by the bar and doubled as a table.

ARKANOID! Awesome... just found it on the site above, but it's not quite as detailed as I remember. I don't know if that's just because it's been a while or if I just thought it was that much cooler in the context of 1986.

You may get more distance out of the line drive but I like the beauty of the pop-out. Most penguins never get to achieve such an altitude and I have to believe that even though he knows that he will surely wind up a lawn dart he can't help but enjoy the view from up there. Besides, if they pull in the infield for a d.p. you just might get one of those sky high penguins to drop in the gap.

That's d.p. as in double play not double penetration you penguin perverts!!!

I was all psyched after finally hitting 318.7-- then i came here. oh well, batter up.

I seem to be stuck at the 272 barrier....although it is awfully fun when the penguin nosedives into the snow, it doesn't get you too far.

But I've only just begun! Better, farther, faster....
